Deleting a database source from Velocity

Velocity Help

If users no longer need copies of a database, you can delete the database source from Velocity to reclaim some storage space. Existing sandboxes that were created with a database copy are not affected. You can add the database source back to Velocity at any time.

Before you can delete a database source, you must delete all of the database copies that have been created from the database source ingest.

See Deleting database copies

When you delete a database source from Velocity, any scheduled ingestions that are associated with the database source are also deleted.

To delete a database source from Velocity

  1. From the Velocity Console, in the left pane, click Database Sources.

  2. Select the database source that you want to delete, and then click Delete.

  3. Click Delete again to confirm that you want to delete this database source.
