Sandbox creation fails on an Oracle Database server

Issue

When you create a sandbox and enter values for the fields under Optional Settings, the sandbox creation may fail with the error 'This operation could not be completed'.

The fields in Optional Settings are:

• Database Memory

• Working Directory

• Custom Oracle Home Path

Solution

To troubleshoot this error, on the Oracle Database server on which you want to create the sandbox, view the following log:

/var/log/velocity/vexecd/*.log
